|About the Book|
Eleanor Pigeon, owner of Pigeon Bed & Breakfast, returns from her short vacation with a touch of anxiety. After all, she has left her beloved bed & breakfast in the truly incapable hands of her nephew, Stephen. Any fears that he has mismanaged her hotel are quickly confirmed when she finds that he has planned a Halloween party upon her arrival. But it isn’t long before the scares become real, when a dead body is found in the morning. When the local police force dismiss the murder case as the workings of Eleanor’s “haunted” bed & breakfast, Eleanor realizes she needs to get to the bottom of things herself. The whole village believes in ghosts, and they’re prepared to stick with the story that a ghost is at the bottom of things. Eleanor, a sceptic, believes otherwise. But can she learn to separate truth from legend? And what are all those strange bumps in the night?
